Charity Links

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself." (Luke 10: 25-28)"

Unfortunately the Church of the Resurrection does not itself have charitable funds. Nevertheless, visitors and regular members of the congregation contribute, both as individuals and through their work, to meeting some of the needs of which we are aware.

Gifts in cash and kind are passed on through our local Orthodox parish churches. We enjoy good relations with our Orthodox neighbours - Biserica Icoanei (Church of the Icon) and Biserica Adormirii Maicii Domnului (Church of the Dormition). Through these local parish churches, we are able to make donations to the needy in this area.
